This was my first big purchase of the year and I am very happy with it. The painting is beautiful, the materials used make it seem like a completely different painting depending on the angle from which you view it. I absolutely love this painting and am considering buying another after I've saved up some money to do so. I follow Kate on Tumblr and enjoy the pictures of her paintings she shares on her blog, but they don't compare at all to the presentation in real life. She is definitely one of my favorite floral artists and buying one of her pieces just solidified that opinion.
