I began working on this piece in 2021. It took me almost two years to get it to it's final form. I thought of the title before I started the piece and knew it had to be otherworldly magnolias. The background color shifts and though difficult to see from head-on, shifting colors include red, purple, cyan, and pink. I made all of the paint for this painting myself, including the bespoke chameleon background.
